Steve Wozniak, Apple co-founder and Chief Scientist at Fusion-io, will be speaking at the 2012 EuraMedia Summit, held in Boston, MA from 13-16 June.
The EuraMedia Summit will encourage entrepreneurship and idea exchange between the US, the UK and Russia, centred on the opportunities in the Russian technology and media sectors.
Fusion-io specialise in cloud computing solutions, which can significantly boost B2B data and storage problems. The opportunities for taking this to Russia are huge. This market poses unique problems, with a dispersed population and huge land mass, and cloud computing provides an efficient solution. With the Russian nation accessing the internet 100% more per day more than any other nation, this could be a lucrative opportunity for any forward thinking business.
The EuraMedia Summit, hosted by IDEA Media, is set to be the first of its kind, and will feature high profile speakers from across a range of industries. New opportunities in Russia, such as cloud computing, will take centre stage.
Wozniak commented on the EuraMedia Summit, "Innovation is a product of collaboration so I hope this inaugural summit will encourage entrepreneurship whilst also inspiring the next generation of great start ups."
The 2012 EuraMedia Summit will not only highlight the opportunities for UK and US investors in the Russian market, but will also prove a lavish and philanthropic occasion. With an awards ceremony hosted by Sarah Jessica Parker and a luxury gaming cruise, amongst other events, it will also be a valuable networking opportunity. These events will be raising money for a range of charities such as The American Cancer Society and Gift of Life.
Steve Wozniak will be speaking on the 15th June. This summit will offer great opportunities for any business looking to take advantage of the opportunities in the Russian media and technology marketplace. There will be a focus on digital media opportunities across eCommerce, fashion, sports, art, venture capital, B2B provisions and more. There are high profile attendees confirmed along with celebrities such as Sarah Jessica Parker, Heidi Klum and David Guetta.
