Hallo miteinander,

ich habe bei mir einen Fehler, den ich nicht in den Griff bekomme.
Wenn ich im iMovie (iMac, High Sierra, neuste iMovie Version) neue Medien importieren will, stürtzt das Programm ab.
Ich habe den Mac schon neu gestartet, einen neuen Benutzer angelegt, einen NVRAM Reset gemacht und sogar iMovie neu installiert. Immer mit dem gleichen Ergebnis: Absturz.
Wann iMovie das letzte Mal fehlerfrei lief, kann ich nicht mehr verifizieren. Möglicherweise gab es da noch Sierra auf meinem iMac
Kennt jemand diesen Fehler oder hat jemand eine Idee, was ich noch machen kann?

MTS Files won’t Import SOLVED!

New problem to this update, I cannot import any MTS files. It trys to import them as .mov files but they are not, they are AVCHD .MTS files. iMovie crashes every time I try to stop the import which isn’t working. I did a test to see if I have corrupt Sd card or camera isn’t writing files properly but that is not the case. I use iMovie all the time for years and just updated, but also updated to High Sierra as well. Could be a problem of the two together. My iMac is the newest version as well, two months old. My Camera is Panasonic HC-X920, pretty darn good camera, defineatly an apple issue after the update. Please Fix this issue, iMovie is useless if it can’t import AVCHD files. Love the program when it works! One star for this only…….

APPLECARE had me uninstall "Perian and MacFUSE" from the system preferences pane, and also do a “Command, Option P, R, reset on startup(Hold all these keys on Startup until you hear the sound or the screen flashes. Solved the issue. Pretty common apparently.

Neuste Version 10.1.8 installiert?

Ja, Version 10.1.8 ist installiert.

Ich komme gar nicht bis zur Medienauswahl, d.h. nach Anwahl des Menüpunktes „Medien importieren“ crasht das Programm..

Hat keiner eine weitere Idee?

Kann keine Probleme beim Import feststellen. SD-Karte aus einer Panasonic SD909.
Schon mal eine andere Karte getestet?

Hast Du denn Perian oder MacFUSE installiert, so wir im obigen Post angesprochen?

Perian sollte eigentlich gar nix mehr tun, aber MacFUSE macht nach jedem Systemupdate üblicherweise Probleme, wenn man es nicht mit aktualisiert. Ist Teil von irgendeiner Windows-Virtualisierung (Fusion, glaube ich).
