Hi,
ich kann das neueste Update Big Sur 11.5.1 nicht über die Systemeinstellungen laden. Am Ende des Ladevorgangs kommt immer diese kryptische Meldung: " Beim Laden des ausgewählten Updates ist ein Fehler aufgetreten. Überprüfe die Internetverbindung und versuche es erneut."
An verschiedenen Tagen versucht, auch im gesichtern Modus, Internetverbindung perfekt, ausreichend Platz auf der HD.

Hatte ich vor zwei Tagen auch. Die Konsole sprach was von "Server zur Personalisierung des Updates" sei nicht erreichbar. Ein paar Stunden später nochmal von vorn das Ganze und es lief.

Darauf hatte ich anfänglich auch gehofft. Mittlerweile versuche ich es aber bereits vier Tage ohne Erfolg.

Ich hatte mal ähnliches Problem und wenn ich mich richtig erinnere habe ich das dann über den AppStore geladen.

Im AppStore gibt es aber allenfalls die Vollversion der neuesten Version.

Die Datei install.log liefert vielleicht Details zu den Ursachen des Scheiterns. Siehe in der Konsole in den Ordner /var/log/ .

Anti-Viren-Programm installiert? Programm ausschalten und schauen, ob es dann geht (Google-Suche hat dazu einige Treffer geliefert - zwar nicht für macOS 11.5.1, aber 11.x)

Antivirenprogramme sind nicht an Bord

Bitte Eckdaten zum System posten, welcher Mac, RAM, SSD Größe.

TIPP: SMC, PRAM, NVRAM Reset durchführen und dann erneut versuchen.

Ich würde versuchen das Ding im abgesicherten Mode zu laden und zu installieren. Das hat in ähnlichen Fällen geholfen..

Im gesicherten Modus hatte ich ja schon, wie gesagt, ohne Erfolg versucht.

Was es aber dann doch gebracht hat, war ein PRAM-Reset. Danach lief das Update durch.

ich hatte auch das Problem der Installation des Softwareupdate auf macOS Big Sur 11.5.1 (auf iMAC). Eine Suche brachte mich hier auf mactechnews.de

Auch ich habe die vorgeschlagenen Lösungen versucht. Leider ohne Erfolg, bis auf den Hinweis zum Anti-Viren-Programm! Konkret war bei mir das Problem über die eingebaute Webcam gegeben. Diese hatte ich blockiert - über meine Schutzsoftware Kaspersky Internet Security.

Im Rahmen der Installation wurde auch kurz eine Meldung ausgegeben, dass ein Zugriff auf die Webcam verhindert wurde (Meldung kann auch inaktiv geschaltet sein!)

Die Lösung war nun, während der Installation einen Zugriff zu erlauben. Damit lief die Installation problemlos. Im Anschluss konnte ich die Webcam wieder absichern.

Für den Tipp vielen Dank (@ jubo)! Da ich gerne auch allen Usern mit einem vergleichbaren Problem helfen möchte, habe ich mich gleich hier registriert. Heute habe ich die Freischaltung erhalten (Vielen Dank!) und daher jetzt auch mein Kommentar. Vielleicht ja eine Hilfe...
