3 Fire Wire Platten für Backups, aber momentan kein Notsystem !
Mein Notsystem ist noch immer in der Werkstatt, rühren sich nicht und da ich momentan auch kein Geld habe bleibe ich auch stumm

Wenn ich ein fertiges runterlade, geht es ja auch.
Nur möchte ich ja MEIN BootPanel haben...
Bei 10.3 ging das so schön einfach.. aber jetzt bekomm ich es einfach nicht hin.

Was mich aber auch reizt - kann man eigentlich unter 10.4 irgendwie auch wieder das Login-Panel ändern?

Noch mal zum Bootpanel.
Ich weiss nur das es unter Tiger etwas anders läuft deswegen ist Visage auch nicht mehr in der Lage das zu ändern.

Tiger and the Boot Panel: Update
We already know that Tiger's Boot Panel is buried within a System executable, /usr/libexec/WaitingForLoginWindow, which makes it inaccessible for a quick switch of PDF images as we did in earlier Systems. While we can't get around that limitation there does appear to be a nice solution for distributing modified WaitingForLoginWindow files that use an installer to drop a new Boot Panel in place.

Our friend tjost, of applemania, has posted a nice selection of Tiger Boot Panels that utilize the installer method noted above. A quick examination of the package using Pacifist reveals the only file contained therein is the replacement WaitingForLoginWindow.

Before you dive into the installer make a backup copy of the original WaitingForLoginWindow. Since the file is invisble, the easiest way to do that is via the Terminal using the command noted below.

cp /usr/libexec/WaitingForLoginWindow /Users/username/Desktop

killall WaitingForLoginWindow im Terminal
