Alle .Mac-Mitglieder haben eine eMail von Apple bekommen, dass auf den Internet-Seiten endlich das Login-Schema vereinfacht wurde. Früher musste man sich, neben dem Login und Passwort für .Mac immer noch einen Apple ID merken, um bestimmte Sachen herunterzuladen. Nun kann man sich auch mit seinem .Mac-Namen und Passwort einloggen.

Dear Apple Customer,

Apple has recently made some changes to its customer account system. Apple has unified login information across Apple ID and .Mac accounts.

This means that you can now use your .Mac email address and password to access all Apple ID services, like Apple Support, the Apple Store, and iPhoto 1-Click purchases.

In addition, if your .Mac account included your billing information, your 1-Click accounts are now populated with that information, making your future purchases quick and easy. If you'd prefer not to use the same billing information for .Mac and your Apple ID account, you can visit the Apple Store or iPhoto and change your 1-Click billing information at any time.
